Juliette Chapel and Events Intimate Wedding Ceremony in Dahlonega, GA

The day I had been waiting forever for finally came on April 15th, 2023. Why was this the day I had been waiting forever for you ask? My little brother married his high school sweetheart at Juliette Chapel in Dahlonega, GA. If you know these two, you know their love story and how much they have been through together. I could not be more ecstatic to see my baby brother marry someone who loves him so unconditionally. I’m beyond proud of everything you’ve accomplished Kev, every obstacle, moment, and life changing decision that led you to this very day. You are going to make an incredible husband, and even better father one day. (Can I babysit already!?)

Juliette Chapel is near and dear to my heart because I photographed one of my first weddings there many moons ago. The Chapel is incredibly intimate and perfect for celebrating your love versus throwing a huge performance on for hundreds of people. The energy at this venue, nested in the woods of the North Georgia Mountains was the perfect fit for Kevin + Mendy.

I would be lying If I said it wasn’t challenging to play the role of photographer, sister, sister-in-law, mother, and daughter all at the same time. However I couldn’t of imagined anyone else photographing this day for these very important people in my life. I’m thrilled with how this day unfolded, and I’m so happy to have been the one to creatively tell the story.
