I’m here to take the stress away from outfit planning:

I won’t leave you hanging; i’m here to help you find the perfect outfits for your session. Obviously these are just guidelines, and it’s the MOST important to me that you feel and dress 100% YOU, however following these suggestions will help make your images really have that wow factor, I promise! Not only that, but these guidelines follow along with my style of photography, as well as the way I edit my work. I’ve been doing photography a long long time, which means I’ve had a ton of trial and error when it comes to these things! Hopefully these tips, inspiration, and quick buy options help you with planning your family’s outfits! – Katrina

Tips:

  1. Try to coordinate outfits to have neutral colors ex: Beiges, Whites, Earth tones, Olive Green, Rust, Mustard

  2. Play with textures + layers in wardrobe (especially if you want your family to wear white + tans!) ex: chunky sweater, a lace dress or a dress that has a sheer layer, pom pom kids shirt, corduroy overalls, suspenders

  3. limit patterns + if you do want to wear a pattern, make sure that only one person is wearing a pattern so there is no clashing. Gentle patterns are best, ex: a floral maxi dress that only has 2 colors (not 10!)
